Roy and Barry live seperatley because they don't get on and they are living on woodshavings but when I clean them out I'm going to put vetbed in their hutches. Billy has vetbed in his hutch, and the girls are on vetbed because Marmalade's got very sensitive skin and the woodshavings made her feet go bright red. I think they like it What bedding do you have in your guinea-pigs hutches/cages?

In my guinea pig cage, I have Carefresh. It's this soft bedding. I heard woodshavings and chips like that are bad and have bad fumes. And they hurt there feet, that's what I read. And when my guinea pigs used Wood Shavings there feet got really red. So yeah, Carefresh is what my guinea pigs have. Hope this helps. I think vetbed is probably almost the same as Carefresh.

Vetbed is a carpet type bedding, but its very hygienic so bacteria doesn't stay in it. Billy likes it, but he tipped all the woodshavings out of his litter tray and spread them about on the vetbed which took me ages to clean lol

Yeah I bet it's fine for guinea pigs. I've never heard of it but just how you say it is I think it should be okay. Probably kind of like Carefresh. Haha, before I dumped Woodshavings all over the cage and it took me forever to clean out... lol.
