Aw I'm so sorry you have lost them all. Were they small? Runts? Because if they were, that could be a part of it. But anyways, RIP Copper, Roux, Rufus, Joe, Scarlett, and Ruby. I feel so bad that you lost them all, not one lived. Was it a disease that only the babies had? Or was it because there mom or dad was a runt, or sickly, or something? It doesn't seem right. All 6 babies.

They all looked good sizes, someone I know who's a breeder has said there might have been to many for Kiki to care for. The main thing is Kiki doesn't seem to sad or depressed which is good, I had a guinea-pig before who had babies and one of them was stillborn and she sat in the corner of the hutch where the baby died for weeks, it was horrible. Eventually after a while she stopped sitting in the corner but it was horrible to see her just sitting there sniffing around the floor . Kiki was more interested in her food this morning which is a good sign. I'm going to give her a few days then maybe start putting her in the run again and things like that because she hasn't been in the run in weeks.

Oh, so she just stopped taking care of her? I see... aw, it was sad. When my baby pig died in the middle of the cage, and they all looked just so sad and shocked. When I removed the piggy to burry it, they were looking for her, I could tell they really missed her. Reese was her mom, and she acted like she was just so sad. But then the next day she started acting better. But it was hard for me, too. I bet you were really sad, having to lose all of them like that. That must be very, very, hard for you. To me, when I just lost one baby, was just the end of the world for me. I felt horrible. Losing 6, wow, that must be terrible. Sorry for you losses. Have a good New Years! Your friend, Shae
