Where does it all come from?? They are such small animals, how can they make SO MUCH poop? Our two boys are like crazy little poop machines. I swear they have to be pooping every five minutes to make their cage such a mess! It's a good thing they're so darn cute.  |

I guess, since there poop is so 'small', it comes out like, two at a time! It just keeps piling up, and you have to remember one thing.... THEY EAT SO MUCH, and they poop so tiny, they have to get it all out somehow! lol

Their poop has to be in proportion with their size. It wouldn't seem so small if you were Guinea Pig size; lol!

It just amazes me that we can clean their cage and the next day it looks like it hasn't been done in a month!

Yes, they poop soo much, but then again look at cows and horses, they poop lots too and its because they eat alot. Because guinea pigs need to eat all the time to stop themselves from starting to death in a matter of a few days, they also need to poop alot. I have a C&C cage, and I clean it out atleast once a day ( the poop that is), some times depeneding on how much time I have ( I have kids, other pets, and a house to keep up with) I'll do it twice a day. Another thing I have notice is the fact the males poop a heck of a lot more then my females ever will. but thats boys for yah JK!! |
