I have a piggy named Cloud but he seems to not like his name. I'm wondering if I should change it because he dosn't react to it so It wouldn't mess anything up and if I did......what would I change it to???

I dont think it would be an issue to change your piggy's name. My piggy's name is Georgia but I also frequently call her baby or sweetie.
I'm not sure what you should change it to, whenever I name my pets I have to feel like one really "fits" before deciding on the name. What do you call him now; do you only call him Cloud or do you have other pet names (no pun intended) for him?

I dont either but others on Wheekers (not to be mean) have other opinions.
And his cage is 4x1 because I dont have that much room for him right now but we keep making him more room to live. I think they kind of got mad at me and think I mistreat my baby but I dont. I do what I can and also have to do what my dad says too.
Sorry to get off topic. I think Monday I will spend lots of time with him (haven't been able to because my family came for a few days and tomorrow is fathers day....) and see if a certain name kinda' pops out at me...... And I call him honey, baby, sweetheart, goofy (when he acts strange), and little one.

I changed my name because I felt I needed a difference from every other site......including Wheekers

I just saw your post from the other site about your cage; I dont see where you think they got mad at you. The important thing is you take good care of him and you love him. My baby currently lives in a petstore cage for her own good. She's gotten her head stuck in the grids a couple times and its just too dangerous until she grows bigger. As long as your giving Cloud the love, attention he needs and providing him with his essentials (food water) then you're doing good!

They seemed a little mad to me......(Might be where I'm sleepy....) He had a store cage an then we got some grids and the worst he can do is put is nose through so we're good. My dad does think he will knock it off. I cant change his mind easily.....
I do love him completely and he always has food, water, hay, something to chew on, and i clean his cage every day-every two days. (depends on if it needs cleaning)
P.S.-
Could you look at his picture and see if a certain name jumps out at you by a picture?

I kind of like animal names. I really just gave him the name Cloud because I didn't want him to go nameless.

I think Cloud is a cute name but if you don't like it why not just just call him Honey or Honey-Pop or maybe Snicker or Cookie because his colors on his head remind me of a chocolate snicker bar with caramel  |

Sorry I missed most of the conversation! I spaced out my forum today, lol! Yeah, I'd keep the name as "Cloud", my guinea pigs don't always come to their names. You could just call him little nicknames or somthing... *EDIT: I also think that Cloud is an adorable name! You could always call him by like "Sweetie" "Baby" or any other nicknames...  |

I think the name Cloud isn't bad, but if you really don't like it, then go with a name like Snickers(I was thinking the exact same thing, misspiggy!) or Doodle, Nibbles, or maybe a name that fits his personality. You can't name a Guinea Pig purely on the picture, it does matter how the name fits the Guinea Pig itself. Like, you can't put a name "Angel" to a Guinea Pig who bites you hand off, something more like Rusty or Hamlet. You decide  ~Guinea Pig Cafe~ www.guineapigcafe.com |

Aw, Snickers is a cute name... but also, the name you have I think fits him, GuineaPigCafe, I agree the names you have our adorable!
But anyways, the name you have for him is cute and I think it kind of fits him, but you could also try something because of their personality, like GuineaPigCafe said. I like that idea, your guinea pig kind of looks like my guinea pig, Lily, by the way!!
Pirky is cute if your guinea pig is pirky... but others by it's attitude and stuff is good!

So, are you keeping it Cloud? Or changing it to something that's not Snickers?
If you still want to stick with the cloud thing, why not call him Stormy? That's cute!
